• life maintaining them and develop global vendors to make them.
• Handling almost 650 different press tools and giving technical support on their performance.
• Handling more than 10 vendors who make car parts through press tools for Caparo.
• Reviewing tool records and ensuring all documents; awareness of TS 16949-2004, ISO 18001, to ensure the regular updates of TS and ISO records.
• Designed & developed Cost and Energy saving techniques/measures and improvement to die for achieving substantial reduction in O & M expenditures and work within the budget.
• Established plan for preventive maintenance of all dies to increase die life and reliability of the product by achieving 100PPM.
• Design drawing the CMM profiling data, machining sketches of die elements for Spare Management.
• Holds the distinction for Tool Correction- Online & Offline Die Correction, Design drawing the die elements for spare management, Welding and Matching the Critical Cutting Edges, Brazing to ensure backup support for production activities.
• Ensuring quality of the Product and reducing operator fatigue by implementing proper techniques like poke-yoke, SOP, kaizen, QCO, TPM, TQC.
• Strong aptitude for Resource Utilization (materials & manpower) and Systems Implementation in press shop.
