Professional Experience

North Shore Medical Center 04/2008 to the present

•Assisted in the Front Desk of the radiology department as a receptionist registering outpatients for radiographic procedures, answering the phone and faxing radiologist reports.

• Performed all needed procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, working with Digital Radiography (DR), Computed Radiography (CR), and Fluoroscopy on Fuji equipment.

• Operated portable x-ray equipment

• Performed injury/trauma cases on pediatric, adult and geriatric patients ensuring their safety and comfort.

●Worked in the Pain Center and Operating room with the C-arm for different procedures such as: Laparoscopy, ERCP, Cholangiogram, cervical and lumbar epidural injections, triggered point injections, and orthopedic cases, etc.

• Performed various fluoroscopic procedures, including Barium swallow, Upper GI, Lower GI, Small Bowel Series and Intravenous Urograghy.

• Crossed trained on CAT scan obtaining high quality images as ordered by physicians.

• Worked with GE MDCT scan of sixteen slices, Dual Siemens scan of 4 slices and Toshiba scan of 16 slices.

• Performed most studies of the head, thorax, spine, abdomen and extremities following powered injection of contrast media.

• Accomplished CT angiograms and completed 3D Reconstructions including: Volume Rendering (VR) and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP).

● Performed venipuncture for contrast media procedures.
