Analytical Skills
• Completed several projects successfully during M.Sc such as Application of Markov models in Pension schemes, Calculation of reserves by Thiele’s equation and Euler Method, Application of R (software) in Cox Model, Binomial Model and Graduation, Inflation in UK: its measurement, current level and likely path in the future.
• Calculated Stroke Burden of Kolkata by estimating Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) in collaboration with Bangur Institute of Neuroscience for M.Sc dissertation. This method of calculating stroke burden was used for the first time in India.

• In depth knowledge of MS Excel and VBA gathered during M.Sc in Actuarial Science coursework by performing extensive calculation to obtain policy value, reserves by Thiele’s equation, profit testing and unit linked funds.
• Expert user of R and Winbugs statistical software. Developed codes for fitting of Inhomogeneous Poisson Process in University Grants count data, fitting of Bayesian models in count data for obtaining Posterior Distribution and predicting the future amount of grants received by the university during M.Sc in Actuarial Science dissertation.
