Vitae

I am currently working for the British Red Cross Society based in Leeds, England. My role is to manage a team of four data administrators covering an area from the Scottish border down to Northampton and from Hull to Liverpool. There are 6500 volunteers, 850 permanent staff and 250 casual staff, all of which data is input through my team, this covers all compensation, job and personal data.

On a daily basis I produce ad hoc reports from PeopleSoft V8.9 using the query function and personally written reports. These are presented in a number of formats depending on the customer needs either in Excel, Power point or and number of other application. Additional to this I produce monthly KPIs. These are presented to the Senior Management Team (SMT) as well at the Territory Management Team (TMT).

The organisation has been running PeopleSoft 8.9 since 2005 upgrading from V7.5 and were the first in Europe to implement this version. I was part of the upgrade team for this project including producing workflow processes, data migration/mapping, system testing and whole range of linked activities. I have since then trained all territory users how to use the system and set up reports to enable them to be able to access management information as when they so choose.

I am also a International coach for the GB acrobatics team which I do in my spare time, I competed myself for 20 years and 8 of them as part of the GB team and achieved medals in over 20 International competitions.
