Original employment position started with the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Office as the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Retention Services. In this position I created and maintained a student database with all students referred to the retention counselors and tracked their progress throughout the semester. I generated correspondence to students and faculty advising them of opportunities and option to have a successful educational experience. Assisted with orientation of freshman and transfer students to the university and assisted with grant proposal research and writing. Scheduled meeting for student with the retention coordinators and counselors as well as tutors on an as-needed-basis.

RM Data Lead/Clerk Typist II

Reviews, assembles, evaluates for completeness and logs all patient incident reports (SI815). Forwards reports to QA/RM Specialist for review. Input data into the Risk Management Database as required. Data is reviewed prior to entering. Also responsible for evaluating data received and triggering an alert to the Chief Performance Improvement Executive indicating untimely receipt of data, inaccurate data, or data that falls within predetermined threshold. Input information into NRI system for state access of patient data. Design and prepare data collection forms for the PI Division and other hospital-wide departments as needed. Prepare Maintenance Work Orders, Telephone Requests, and Key Requisitions for PI Division as needed. Prepares Travel Vouchers and Out-Service Training Forms for PI Division as necessary. Provides clerical support to all programs within the PI Division which include but are not limited to taking and preparing Department and Committee meeting minutes, update of Utilization Review Manual, typing accreditation Standards Reports, and discharge summaries. Performs related tasks as needed.
