Sales Manager

For the last eleven years I have been an IT Manager for Sales Force Automation, Call Center and Service Management implementations.

In my last consulting assignment as IT Manager in Sun power I proposed and implemented number of process changes which improved the productivity. I project managed a top project for SunPower in 2010, for evaluating the performance of the partners, rewarding them with agreed bonus for achieving and exceeding goals set for them by making up-to-date performance achievement transparent to the partners through Salesforce.com partner portal to drive the partners to achieve the goals and the Channel Managers to monitor the progress and take corrective action in time thereby maximizing the revenue to the company. The functional teams involved in this exercise were Finance, Channel, Direct Sales, Global Sales, Global Business Process owners, Training Team, Customer Support team, Engineering team, Inspection, Product Marketing, Oracle IT team, IT CRM team, IT Integration, EMEA and APAC teams. The project was completed within the budget and timeline and won the appreciation of all in the IT/BIZ meeting.

Responding to urgent request for an application for product recall management I managed to get an application built within twenty hours with a very small team.

I have worked with leading CRM software companies in developing contract pricing, enhancements to eConfigurator quotes and orders to facilitate revenue recognition and many other specialized applications.

I have done business process reengineering for Healthcare, Wealth Management, Port and Metal and Mining industries.

I had headed the Sales and Marketing of one of the largest billion dollar aluminium mining and smelting company with a leading brand in LME (London Metal Exchange). I directly reported to the CEO for some time when my Executive Director (Board Member) was away. I was awarded the company’s first ‘Marketing Man of the Year’ award for outstanding performance in Sales, Administration and Corporate Marketing Strategy.
