WORK EXPERIENCE / VOCATIONAL STORY:
• CPE Internship at Egleston Hospital, May 27th up to August 16th , 2009. I did pastoral care for the families , children, patients and staff at this hospital. We worked as a Pastoral Care Team.
• I do charitable work as a board member of Hope of Life International Ministries, Lawrenceville, Atlanta.
• I am a Permanent Resident allowed to live and work in USA.
2007 to Jan. 2009: ASSISTANT TEACHER - AT FORT PORTAL, UGANDA.
• Teaching: students , at Fort Portal, Uganda.
• Counseling: interviewed and counseled seminary students on a monthly basis.
• Pastoral Care: mainly with local communities, visiting the sick, families and local churches around the Seminary.
• Administration/Management: prepared budgets , purchased supplies and maintained seminary premises
2000 to 2005: PASTORAL CARE - AT BUGEMBE PARISH, JINJA, UGANDA.
• Worked with a communities and families.
• Worked with a Pastoral Council team to promote people’s spiritual lives, health care, economic development and education.
• Met monthly to coordinate education needs in schools, discipline, spiritual affairs, academics, staffing/personnel, finances, planning and development.
• Provided pastoral care and counseling to married couples, elderly, youth and the sick.
1998-2000: PASTORAL WORKER / SOCIAL WORKER, Uganda.
• Taught secondary and grade school classes.
• Worked with Basic Christian Communities and the youth.
• Served as a staff member on Parish Pastoral Teams.
• Attended weekly and monthly pastoral meetings.
From my pastoral work experience, I prefer to work as a team, to share my pastoral plans, dreams and goals. I have been successful in my pastoral work because of team work and collective pastoral wisdom.
