Perform instrument, reagent, media, antibiotic quality control.
Troubleshoot instrument and assay problems
Assure specimen integrity and sample identification on specimens received and shipped
Adhere to policy and procedure, safety and regulatory requirements
Assure correct and timely reporting of results
Interact with physicians, nurses and other departments
Write and submit incident reports as necessary to improve processes
