(Production environment: File Server 2000 professional networked to BBS/Gateway.

Test environment: PC Windows 2000 Pro and Laptop NT with network connection.)

Built, configured, and managed a Windows 2000 server. Automate an AMCTIMER application to handle all

EDI JCL scheduling. Enforced HIPPA compliant mandates for all Remit Advice, Claim, and ANSI X12 997

electronic data interchanges. Performed duties and prepared diagrammed Dataflow, technical processing,

and end-user documents with Microsoft Office Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher,

Microsoft Visio, Adobe Illustrator, and Paint Shop Pro. Used OOP VFP to develop FTP-CRON

(AMCRON/GATECRON) jobs for handling claims, messaging, and remittance advice; provided analysts with

VFP BBS and Gateway input/output processing tools. Devised and documented a Disaster Recovery Plan.

Create an integrated Excel 2000 to VFP database to gather information for report processes. Performed

several Gateway operations using NETX and Access 8.0 AIX; established and documented Gateway data

integrity using OOP VFP Exit-Firewall applications. Optimize DBMS dealing with MS-Access, Excel, and some

mainframe COBOL. The MOOGLE System provides the business solution for connectivity of partner,

customer, and supplier data and disparate platforms heterogeneous sources and technologies. Utilize

queries to SQL Server DB for problem solving. Applications include event scheduling and monitoring

programs via Visual FoxPro, VC++, and VB. In order to make transparent the mainframe/gateway boundary,

I developed JCL calls from within VFP. I conducted classroom instruction-demos.

Designed an SQL/FTP/JCL MOOGLE application to provide real-time EDI ERA system assessment,

which not only doubled the efficiency of EDI representatives (remit and claim research) and became the

ultimate solution for EDI customer inquiries, but also saved the EDI department over $40K annually.

(AMCTIMER, AMCRON, and GATECRON)

I provided improved stability of the EDI procedures by completely transitioning claim/remittance

advice processing from the BBS to the Gateway. AMCTIMER, AMCRON, and GATECRON provided a saving

result for the EDI department of more than $16K annually. Developed recovery processes for tracking all

AMCRON/GATECRON claim/remit transfers.

Was a main contributor to developing “validate and deliver” applications (AMCRON and GATECRON),

which helped to establish new industry standards and suspend illegitimate endeavors, resulting in reduced

costs for all insurance policyholders.

Developed, using VFP, an automatic e-mail notification system to facilitate immediate response

requirements and automated scheduling of all EDI claim and remit program activity, eliminating the need

for the EDI programming staff to troubleshoot and producing substantial savings.

business information and indicators, which enabled the company to produce $3K in annual revenue;

customized the Risc6000 system for job scheduling of management reports with MS-Access and VBS.

annual savings.

Used VFP to develop a financial tax form 5112 reporting system for tax preparation.
