Database Oracle 10g
Platform PL/SQL,UNIX
Tool Used TOAD,SQLDEVELOPER
Team Size 8
Duration November2011 -- tilldate
Description:
RSCB-Group Special Assets Management is a specialized unit, which manages the Bank’s non-performing assets(NPA’s).It will be the single system where data are entered initially, manually, eventually, electronically when the Basle Data warehouse(BDW)is up and running.
RSCB serves as a repository of data that will demonstrate GSAM’s effectiveness in making debt and interest recoveries, as well as reducing the problem account portfolio- all of which make a substantial positive contribution to the Bank’s profitability. This will also form an important element in the capital adequacy model that the Bank has to present to the regulators under the Basel II accord-GSAM’s success will ensure that we are able to justify a much lower capital adequacy requirement than would otherwise be the case, an outcome of long-term benefit to the Bank.
It is essential that RSCB be fed with timely and accurate data at all times, not only for the preparation of the relevant SARR, where applicable, and to keep GSAM senior management informed, but also for parties outside GSAM who have a legitimate interest in the data. All accounts under GSAM’s control, without exception, have to be maintained and updated in RSCB.
The objective of this application is to automate the existing applications (RSCB /SARR) into one single web based application.
