Development Engineer
Integrated the feature of stamping the PPPoE Relay-Session ID tag during the dial up PPPoE packet transfer
Developed the IGMP Filter functionality by building a separate table of multicast addresses and blocking those addresses from receiving streaming video and audio, by dropping their IGMP reports
Implemented Static IGMP, by adding static entries to the Multicast Forwarding Table thereby enabling these entries to receive streaming even without sending reports
Configuration of ADSL 2+ software based on release requirement
Follow up with internal validation team regarding software issues and further feature enhancements
Configuration of switches and routers, such as M2404, D-link and Netgear, to simulate a real time network scenario for testing
Tested connectivity, stability, bandwidth and triple play (audio, video and data transfer) of the ADSL 2+ board using tools such as Agilent tester and scripts

Implemented a file transfer scenario where multiple clients establish connections with unknown servers via a known proxy by using UDP protocol, using a customized unreliable sendto (‘usendto’).
Dynamic Search, Binghamton University Nov 2008
Implemented multi-item search on a text file, by dynamically loading search algorithm based on the type of requested item, served by a concurrent server daemon.
Implemented different versions, using different IPC mechanisms such as FIFOs, System V IPC and TCP Sockets.
