Dear Hiring Manager:
As you flip through numerous applicants’ data, I am hopeful that you take a moment to review my candidacy.
Previously, I was a Customer Marketing Manager, a position that allowed me to hold various roles and responsibilities internally across departments and externally with customers and our sales team. I have enjoyed being the “go to” person for information and taking every opportunity to transfer relevant details to the appropriate person. I am currently in search of a role that will allow me access to various individuals within the organization, thus maintaining a heavy workload and continual flow of communications. Let’s face it…many barriers that face employees are lack of communication or relevant information to the project, which slows progress and often causes mistakes.
I enjoy working hard and achieving results. I am considered by others to be a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced environment. I enjoy being presented with challenges, using my organizational skills to create order out of chaos and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. I am a natural problem solver, strong communicator both verbally and in writing, and I keep my eye on future process improvements.
Managing communications in a clear, concise and consistent manner is a natural process to me. It takes an intuitive individual with a keen business sense to understand what level of detail is pertinent information to other areas of the business. While working at Thule as a Customer Marketing Manager, I successfully broke communication barriers internally between departments and externally between our independent sales representatives and customers. I standardized communications via a company intranet with key documentation attributes and ownerships. Another recognized accomplishment of mine was managing the company’s first ever recall campaign with a success rate of approximately an 85% return. I work well either independently, or as a member of various project teams.
After several years at home with my children, co-managing a family S-Corp, volunteering in the community and relocating to NC, I am now looking to re-establish my career goals and jump back into a challenging position where I can make a difference in an organization. I have lived in Wake Forest, North Carolina since 2007 and am thrilled to call it home. I do not regret time taken away from my career to raise my children, as I feel blessed with having been able to have this unique opportunity. Now that my children are school age, I am following my career goals, which is to re-enter the workplace and hit the ground running!
My salary requirements are negotiable and will be based on a more thorough review of the position scope and total compensation package. If you wish to speak with me or set up an interview I may be reached at the number above.
Regards,
Jaime Machold
