My Thirty Plus Years of Experience in the construction industry has allowed me to work in and understand the responsibilities of upper management. The positions and duties that I have successfully performed are diverse and extensive, my experience as Director of Construction and Estimating, Project Scheduler, Construction Manager, Sr. Project Manager, Owners Representative, Senior Projects Superintendent, and Business owner, will not only be of interest to you but also be very beneficial to your organization.

I have years of Proven Experience with the Planning and Development of projects from inception, which has given me extensive skills working closely with clients creating Performa’s, Budgets, Planning & Development presentations. With “Plans & Spec’s” projects I am skilled with the preparation and planning involved with the Pre-Award interviewing process. I have fully and simultaneously managed and been responsible for all field operations and directed multiple construction sites, coordinating the respective project managers, superintendents, support staff, and subcontractors. In conjunction with managing projects my Pre-Construction responsibilities have included: producing Hard Bid & Budget Estimates, Value Engineering, creating and maintaining project schedules, creating and negotiating Owner and Subcontractor Contract Agreements. Post award of contract responsibilities have included: Subcontract buy-outs, procuring permits & bonds, scheduling or hiring of field personnel, long lead material purchasing, field mobilization. I am also travel oriented, as projects may require. I have completed many out of state projects have required my management skills regularly during both pre and post construction.

In addition to my considerable experience, I am people oriented with demonstrated abilities in administration and in the motivation of people. I am proficient with Constructware, Contract Manager (Expedition) software (versions 2.0 – 12.1), and Primavera P-3 & P-5, working daily with these programs for over 12 years. I am also extremely proficient in many other programs such as InfoMaker, Microsoft Project, SureTrack, ViewPoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Outlook. I have excellent presentation, communication, documentation, organizational, and analytical skills.

My projects have consistently insisted on very high quality standards of workmanship. I have completed a wide range of unique building projects, with several that have been award-winning buildings. These projects have typically ranged from as little as $500K to over $60M.
