Appointed to manage the daily operations of Spa and Recreation by guiding the team of professional in day to day operations. While Leela took over all management from GHM(A Singaporean Hotel Company) and decide to continue the word class great hospitality by following the old Indian tradition “Athithi Devo Bhava”(Guest is God).

Responsibilities

Plan, forecast and budget the revenues and expenses for the dept.

Implement strategies to achieve a larger market share and attract new segments for the dept.

Took charge of this award winning renowned property Mandarin Oriental’s new opening Resort in Chiang mai-Thailand as Senior Yoga Consultant, later on get promoted as an acting Assistant manager Resort Activity(Dheva Spa). Dheva Holistic Centre and Spa is Mandarin’s only property where we are running and introducing successfully a range of Holistic healing therapies, Yoga, Wellness and Western treatments.

Responsibilities

Worked with Dr’s and Management’s core team to implement and introduce a holy concept of traditional and Holistic therapies together as holistic approach in daily life.

Supervising all resort activities, daily operations and fitness staff .

Developing Training Modules as per the requirement of the local culture and settings.

Was recruited initially to lead the pre-opening activities of the RafflesAmrita Spa , a 12 luxury deluxe treatment suites offering a range of western therapies. After setting up the Spa and running successfully promoted to take charge of the RafflesAmrita Fitness & Recreation dept as Recreation Supervisor.

Successfully planned and executed the pre-opening activities of the resort including the professional development menu and manpower planning, sequence of service, decided on the operating supplies & equipments. Reformed and applied the Company’s core standards as per the requirement of the global clientele.

Was responsible for the Spa set up and Assistant operation. Assisted in training and developing up to multi cultural staff in spa ethics, massage, facials, body scrubs, wraps, room set up, product knowledge, international hygiene and safety standards, and client customer care.
