Removed structural steel as required in Bldg 9001 (TAC) at Tinker AFB, while using
cutting torches, grinders, hammers and chisels. Separated and stored materials using
forklifts ranging from 4K to 25K. Also operated a telehandler forklift to move materials.
Loaded and unloaded trucks with forklifts and performed minor maintenance on forklifts
and scissor lifts including changing batteries and propane tanks, when necessary. Also

Duties and Responsibilities
Used sandblaster for cleaning steel, High Efficiency Torch for heat
treating automotive body parts, air compressor using regulated and nonregulated air,
respirators and Personal Protective Equipment during use of sandblasting
equipment, welding, and heat treating, etc. Also used sanders and right angle buffers
for shaping and smoothing of surfaces. Dis-assembled automotive parts with hydraulic
press and reassembled with hydraulic press and micrometer to insure proper fit of parts.
Signed off on parts cleaned and reassembled for final inspection. Operated abrasive and
non-abrasive blasting and cleaning equipment, including glass media, plastic media,
steel shot, and some aluminum oxide. Checked out and returned tools according to
company procedure. Cleaned, maintained and inspected tools for wear and tear. Made
minor repairs to tools as necessary. Ensured proper handling and storage of tools. Aided in
the safety, cleanliness, organization, and operations of the hazardous materials work area.
Handled and properly disposed of hazardous materials and performed work in a safe
manner. Secured the safety of myself and co-workers while completing required tasks.
While using the above materials and equipment, walked and stood at least 4 hours per day,
and performed lifting duties of 50 – 100 lbs. Climbing was required for crane/hoist
operation. Worked in areas of excessive heat, and noise, around machinery with moving
parts, grease and oil, and followed appropriate safety standards and regulations while

set mortar, pre-mixed mortar, and specialized flooring adhesives, and appropriately
disposed of excessive materials and abrasives, while wearing Personal Protective
Equipment, including gloves, respirators, eye protection, etc. Removed and installed
baseboards, crown molding, window and door frames, and doors using electric drill
motors, mitre saws, circular saws, hand saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic finish
nailers, framing nailers, hammers, levels, framing squares, shims, chalk lines, and laser
levels. Removed and installed sinks, bathtubs, and toilets, using adjustable wrenches,
soldering torches, and solder, hack saws, hole saw cutters, plumbers putty and pry bars.
Installed electrical fixtures and appliances including light fixtures, hooded stove vents,
electrical outlets and switches, thermostats, ceiling fans, garbage disposals, and
bathroom plumbing fixtures, using electrical current testers, screwdrivers (flat tip and
Phillips head), wire cutters and strippers, tin snips, sheet metal pliers, adjustable pliers
and adjustable pipe wrenches. Installed window blinds and window treatments using
power drills, drill bits, screwdrivers, levels, tape measures, and apex sockets.
