EWC has 100 Grocery stores spread over in South Africa. Each store has a full complement of departments including Grocery, Frozen Foods, dairy, meat etc.This project helps middle level management and store to improve the over all sales of the products by analyzing the history of products data with current data. In this project data from various online transaction processing(OLTP) applications and other sources is selectivity extracted, related, transformed and loaded into Teradata Warehouse using BTEQ, MULTILOAD, FASTLOAD, FAST EXPORT .

Responsibilities:

• Performed major role for understanding the business requirements.

• Creating appropriate indexes dependent on table situation and requirements.

• Got Familiar with Teradata tools and utilities like Fastload, Multiload and Fast Export. Understood the purpose of each utility under different scenarios and requirements.
