Cost savings achievement while at GM: Achieved cost saving of $525,000 on the purchase of 5000 Dell laptops for various GM departments. Dell originally quoted a price that was $200 more for new GM requested updates to Ram, Hard drive and Graphics on there current laptop. Through research and my personal knowledge of this technology I negotiated a price that was less then half what Dell was hoping to get for these updates. The end price was $95 for the system updates and the negotiations were completed in 3 days.
