-Transposed the detailed site-plan layout work from blueprint plans to the field
-Supervised the crews while they performed subsurface exploration methods and material analysis at the early stages of design, and evaluated data collected from the following tests: “Split-Spoon Sampling”, “which involved the “Standard Penetration Test”; “Thin-Wall Tube Sampling” otherwise known as “Undisturbed Sampling”;“Consolidation”; “Rock-Core Sampling”; and “Vane-Shear Strength”
-Visually evaluated soil characteristics with respect to their qualitative components, and performed dry strength, dilatancy, plasticity, and dispersion tests on respective samples
-Supervised operations and maintained the daily logs on work performance and representative asphalt core field samples during highway core drilling operations
-Evaluated cores of the highway’s representative asphalt profile to assure quality control, and to corroborate the contractor’s work to be in accordance with contract specifications for the desired highway pavement thickness.
