Press Maintenance Engineer

Manage and develop the company’s preventative maintenance program (CMMS) using MQ1 system.

Manage a group of three maintenance technicians.

Develop predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned reactive maintenance on a 2,500 ton mechanical and a 3,000 ton hydraulic forging press and associated support equipment including induction heating systems, robot handling and die spray systems.

Perform maintenance on both forging press lines including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repair.

Maintained spare parts inventory. Organize spare parts storage.

Numerous cost savings implemented with payback periods of as little as 6 months. These include oil reuse system, building cold weather shutdown, wastewater supplies use reduction and new sources for components and service.
