2004 – present VTech Contract Mfg., Cambridge, MA (VTech’s HQ is located in HK)

President, Business Development , re-joined upon request of VTech’s CMS CEO (see earlier employment with Vtech in 1999). Outsourcing Business Development of potential contract manufacturing for electronic companies in the US. Initiating first contacts with “C” level Management , Quotations, and Program Management transfer. Focus on Consumer Electronics and High-Tech Programs and Products, and IP Consulting.

2002 – 2004 DELTA Electronics, DC/DC Converter Division (acquired ASCOM)

ASCOM (later Delta’s acquisition) has hired me for this special assignment, reporting to the CEO. The initial task was to establish BMP presence in the USA. Responsible for worldwide strategic implementation of a new DC/DC converter product line. Responsible for establishing the Sales Channels, such as Reps, Distributors. Working out of my “virtual” office in New England. Revenue is above plan.

2001-2002 Valere Power, Inc., Richardson , TX, Director of Sales, North East

Responsible for Sales and Business Development in the Telecom, ISP, and general service provider marketplace of DC Power Plants, up to 30kW of power. Covering a three tier sales and distribution channel and visited the large ISP’s such as Verizon, AT&T, Cablevision, NEXTEL, also large OEM’s such as Cisco, EF&I and Telecom Install companies. Working with engineers on design in’s, pre-and post sales application support. As Valere Power is a start up company, responsibilities also include the generation of Application notes, hand out’s, and Marketing material. Well on plan, built successfully the infrastructure with Rep’s , VAR’s from scratch. Generating the initial business through constant and frequent customer visits and live presentation of samples.

1999 – 2001 Wall Industries, Inc. Exeter N.H., Div. of Continental Resources, MA

Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing

Managing the Sales, Marketing and Applications of Wall’s DC/DC converters and industry foot-print compatible power conversion products, used mainly in wireless telecom products, such as ODU’s and IDU’s or Industrial applications.. Implemented clear sales and marketing directions, reorganized the sales and marketing channel. Result after 18 month: A 38 % growth of the total revenue for the current fiscal year.

1998 to 1999 VTech Contract Manufacturing Division, Cambridge, MA

Vice President, Business Development, reporting to HQ in Hong Kong

Helped opening the new US East Coast Subsidiary and hired the initial Rep’s. Closed several new orders in the multi-million $ range. Responsible for the East Coast business development. Overall performance has been exceeding the HQ’s expectations.
