• Evaluated building inspection reports, forecasted job cost against customer’s service contract coverage, submitted appropriate proposal to customer and closed the sale.

• Identified new business opportunities and worked with sales and engineering departments to develop successful bids.

• Maintained sales tracker and submitted reports to manager.

Achievements:

• Devised and implemented methods through the creation of universal forms to accurately and efficiently prepare and track booking packages throughout the sales and dispatch processes.

• Developed an accurate customer database optimizing efficient information retrieval ensuring customer satisfaction through better service.

• Increased output of quotes and sales by over 90%.

Senior Technical Representative (1999 – 2007)

Responsibilities:

• Managed installation projects of software-based Fire Alarm Systems, Commercial Audio (Intercom thru Pro-Sound), Telecommunications (Iwatsu Certified), Nurse Call and Patient Wandering systems, and Time Recorder Systems.

• Designed, configured, programmed, tested and certified systems. Coordinated work with different building trade contractors and in house sales and engineering staffs facilitating project completion in time and under budget.

• Trained and mentored new technicians.

Achievements:

• Successfully expanded systems beyond their specified capabilities through design, fabrication, and programming.

• Fabricated parts and refurbished the antique clock and synchronizing system for the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, PA.

• Developed testing procedures for electronic components.

• Introduced logic box methods of integrating systems.

• Designed, built, and installed from component level a multi-zoned paging system with background music capabilities for the Philadelphia Housing Authority’s premiere facilities at the John Street and Wilson Park Community Centers saving the client thousands of dollars in parts and equipment.

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science at Montgomery County Community College majoring in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (GPA: 3.74 @ 64 credits).

• Drafting and design coursework utilizing AutoCAD 2009-2012 and SolidWorks, with related courses in materials science, technical writing, physics, and calculus.

• Member of the Student Engineering Association and 2012 STEMJAM exhibitor.

• Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society inductee on October 14th, 2011.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Judge of Elections (Chester County Precinct 477).

• Scout Leader and Project Coordinator Valley Forge BSA Troop 73. Recently authored a humorous non-fiction book about a back packing trek in New Mexico entitled Bear Bags, PYBRL Little League volunteer and coach.
