EXPERIENCE
Layer 3 Communications: 9/01-present – Operations Manager. Layer 3 Communications is a network design and integration firm with offices in TX, SC, GA, TN and AL. I am the single person responsible for all aspects of administration for all companies who had combined revenue in 2011 of $10M. I handled all AP/AR, purchasing which included vendor RMAs and manufacturer POS reporting. Additionally, I handled HR and payroll responsibilities for 40+ employees in all 5 companies. I reported and paid sales tax in all jurisdictions, and maintained a customer services/maintenance database on a daily basis. I reconcile eight bank accounts each month. On a lighter note, I helped plan all social functions which included an annual Christmas party and monthly office cook-outs. I am proficient in Quickbooks Pro software and Intuit Deluxe payroll services.
Klotz Digital America: 6/99-9/01: Klotz Digital America is a German-owned broadcast equipment manufacturer based in Norcross, GA. Our largest customer was XM Satellite radio in Washington, DC. I worked as the Office Manager with duties that included AP/AR, HR, international shipping, customs and financial reporting to the home office in Munich. I also helped plan the social functions of the office which included a holiday party and company meetings with our German co-workers.
Disc Jockeys Unlimited: 1/86-6/99: I worked as the Office Manager and sales person for this local Atlanta entertainment company. During my time at DJU, sales increased 200% and the staff increased from 5 DJs to 25. I was responsible for event sales, scheduling DJs, creating marketing materials, and working as one of the DJs at weddings and corporate events. Additionally, I assisted with W-2 and 1099 reporting and monthly sales reports.
