Responsibilities
Personal Admin to President.
Insure timely renewal/cancellation of all insurance policies and leases. Review policies for adequate coverage. Prepare financial statements including cash flow and cash flow forecasts.
A/R
Insure accuracy of customer PO and send acknowledgement. Generate invoices. Receive and post customer payments. Make bank deposits. Reconcile customer accounts. Collections. Maintain customer files.
A/P
Review purchase orders, receivers and vendor invoices for accuracy. Post and pay vendor invoices. Reconcile credit card charges and vendor accounts. Maintain vendor files.
Payroll
Time card computations. Interface with ADP and Paychex for payroll entry using either software. Post general journal entry from payroll reports provided.
H/R
Write original text for employee handbook and maintain updates or changes in company policy or labor law. Maintain employee files. Verify new hires. Write dismissal letters. Coordinate benefits packages including health insurance, 401k plan and flexible spending plan. Investigate various plans and recommend changes when appropriate.
General Ledger
Maintain general ledger accounts. Post correcting, reversing and closing entries when required. Reconcile bank accounts. Ensure accuracy of customer deposits/sales accounts and inventory/cost of goods sold accounts using non-integrated software.
