I'm currently enrolled at Northwest Vista College and am working on a Dual Associate's Degree in Computer forensics and in Information Security and Assurance and plan to finish out my Bachelor's Degree at Texas A&M. I currently hold a 3.5 GPA and will be obtaining my A+ by the end of September of 2011 (this coming month). I will also will be receiving my Security + and Linux+ certification by the end of December of this year. I do not have work experience just yet but am seeking employment an entry level position in the IT field so that I can that I can gain the experience required to be successful in my area of study. I have an Accounting background, but do feel that I can start out as an entry level position' in the IT area if the opportunity is given to me. I have had experience in payroll, accounts payable, data entry, and accounts receivables. The closest I've come to working with computers, is within family and friends, by repairing computers, troubleshooting, upgrading and some basic home networking. As well as the courses I have taken and continue to take to obtain my degree. I am also open to positions in accounting and customer service.
