Client: Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT), Visakhapatnam.
Project team: Three.
Project Duration: 2 Months.
Introduction of the project:
Visakhapatnam Port is described as the “Brightest Jewel” of all Indian major ports for its outstanding performance and productivity, spurring domestic and international trade.
The project was divided into five phases
1) Studying the current process
2) As on analysis
3) Analysis for improvements
4) Studying the improved system.
5) Feedback
Initially we studied the current training methodologies practiced at VPT which includes identifying the training programs, identifying the suitable candidates, conducting the trainings and assessment. In the second phase we did an As-on analysis to find out the benefits and flaws of the current system. Later we analyzed and researched on how to improve the overall process and gave the presentation to the management. With the help of management we did a trail run and studied the benefits and finally gave presentation on the same.
