We are a third party logistics provider for Hitachi Data Systems, who are the largest data storage provider in the world. Units are received, configured and shipped all over the world from this facility. I have worked my way up from the Receiving Supervisor to the Manager over the Inbound, Inventory and Spares groups. I have three Supervisors who report to me and thirty seven associates; I also will direct the operations when the Operations Manager is out. Responsible for maintaining a customer satisfaction goal of 99.85%, this has been achieved for the last 15 months, hiring of associates for departments, corrective action for those instances when needed, maintaining overtime and department costs. Must have cross functional teams that help where needed.

Inventory Department – Responsible for maintaining an inventory accuracy rate of 97%, maintaining and assuring that the inventory is in its proper location and accurate. There are different organizations that own product in the warehouse and they have scheduled audits twice a year to ensure inventory is correct. There are also cycle counts done on a daily basis, this also ensures the inventory is counted 4 times a year.

Inbound Department - Responsible for getting product received and stocked in a 24 hour period. Department received in over two million pieces in 2009, this was achieved with 8 associates.

BINDLEY WESTERN DRUG CO. Jul. 1981 – Feb.2000

Was the fourth largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in the U.S., the company distributed prescriptions, over the counter drugs, medical supplies and equipment. Started there working in the receiving department and worked my way up to Operations Manager. From February 1992 to July 1993 was the acting Division Manager in the Charlotte, NC warehouse, commuting back and forth from week to week.
