Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Enfocus Pitstop, QuarkXpress, Esko Nexus and Kodak Preps.

Motion Products – Golden, Colorado – September 2008 to February 2009

Prepress Technician

Set up layouts for lenticular and offset printing. Trapped and imaged files from computer-to-plate

while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Assembled designers ideas into workable files and

troubleshot as well as corrected supplied files. Company went out of business in June of 2009.

LaValle Printing & Mailing Services – Woodinville, Washington – January 2005 to June 2008

Prepress Technician, Graphic Designer

Preflighted, troubleshot and assembled customer supplied files as well as made color corrections

to scans. Exported, imposed, trapped and sent pdf files from computer-to-plate using Adobe, Kodak

and Agfa software. Successfully Created brochures, flyers and catalogs from concept to completion.

Collaborated with clients to create designs while meeting tight deadlines.

Contract Prepress Technician – March 2001 to January 2005

In early March of 2001 I started doing contract work for printing companies around the Seattle

area. During this time I set up artwork for offset and digital printing, including, page assembly,

color corrections and manual trapping.

Prepress Technician, Graphic Designer

Preflighted, assembled, trapped and imaged files for film output to Agfa image setters. Scanned

transparencies on a Howtek 4000 drum scanner and made color corrections. Set up and printed

files for large scale digital printing to a ColorSpan 6000 inkjet printer. Translated ideas into

concrete designs for catalogs, brochures and promotional materials. Transferred to Woodinville,

Washington location to be the lead prepress artist. The Woodinville location eventually went out

of business in 2001.

Prepress Technician, Graphic Designer

Compiled electronic layouts consisting of clip-art and continuous-tone products for various

companies. Created themes and graphics for promotional campaigns, catalogs and magazines.
