Project Synopsis : The ODIE is a system that maintains device, site, customer and Sprint and third party contracts information. ODIE providing administrator an easy way to manage device, site or customer information among hundreds of site for any customer and any customer can have thousands of devices. ODIE maintains different types of devices like voice and non voice devices, router, gateways, and storage device, where as each device will have different parameters.

Tools and technology used : Java, Ext JS and Oracle.

My specific role/contribution in the project:

Responsible for interfacing with onsite team on technical and function implementation.

Responsible to provide technical support to the entire team and implementation of proof of concept with EXT Js.

Responsible for project status reports, activity follow ups and closure of issues.

Client : John Hancock Retirement Plan Services (Insurance Domain)

Project Synopsis : John Hancock Retirement Plan Services offers qualified retirement plan products and services for corporate and small to mid-sized businesses. The Main Objective of i:Loans project is to implement a fully paperless loan request process. Implementing an online facility for the creation and submission of electronic loan requests will:

Provide a paperless loan process, reducing the amount of paper that Plan Sponsors and TPAs submit to JHRPS and the transfer of information necessary to complete a loan request

Improve client satisfaction by reducing the administrative workload of Plan Sponsors and TPAs

Better position JHRPS to compete in the mid-size plan market while providing a service that is beneficial to all of John Hancock’s clients

My specific role/contribution in the project:

Responsible for the design and the development of “loan eligibility” module in “iLoans” in EZK website and “loan review” in Plan sponsor website.

Project: Hitachi NAS Manager 7.0

Client : Hitachi, Japan.

Role : Senior Developer.

Project Synopsis : Hitachi NAS (Network Attached Storage) Manager is a program for efficiently managing the NAS system. A system administrator can use the NAS Manager to perform NAS system setup and management tasks, including operating and monitoring for errors. NAS Manager is designed to simplify administrative tasks and help save the administrator time through a range of robust features including the UI support using which an administrator can create shares, file systems, mounting and granting access to user etc.

In this project, the following new functionalities were introduced to the existing system.

1)Implementation of Batch processing system, administration tasks done as a set of activities.

2)Responsible for the design and the development of “Cluster Setting” module in “Setup Wizard” and “File transfer” module in “Os update install wizard”.

3)Creation of the checklists and JUnit test programs and DIT execution.

4)Ensuring the delivery of the module allotted on time.

My specific role/contribution in the project:

Responsible for the design and development of “Batch Processing” module.

Project: Development of WETOPASS/ELPACK 06-01

Project Synopsis : The project was a sub system for Hitachi’s Project Management System software for the improvement of the Project Plan creation function, Support of the Group Management Function and authentication module using LDAP and Active Directory. Group Management Function is involved with Unifying member administration based on the compatibility with Active Directory; ensuring Batch processing for member addition, deletion that had been so far carried out individually for each system. Authentication module communicates with multiple LDAP servers for the given user and it fetches user name, mail address, group belonging etc. In this project, the following new functionalities were introduced to the existing system.

1)Implementation of authentication module using JNDI (where as existing is C++ library).

2)Development of the Member List Screen/ Member Details Information Screen.

3)Group Management Function compatibility of the Electronic Approval Function.

4)Implementation of Member Information Export/ Import Function.

Tools and technology used : Core Java, Servlets/JSP, JNDI, XSL, JavaScript, OpenLDAP 2.2.x, Active Directory Windows 2000 server.

Project: Development of WETOPASS/ELPACK 06-00

Project Synopsis : The project was a sub system for Hitachi’s Project Management System software to provide an easy way for project plan customization and maintenance. Instead creating project plan in word document, it will be maintained as an XML file. The created project plan XML file will have versions for easy maintenance and user interface needs no change regardless of change in project plan version update. In this project, the following new functionalities were introduced to the existing system.

1)Creating/Editing and Replacing Project plan XML with another version of Project Plan XML.

2)Refer Project Plan XML (XSL User interface for viewing project plan XML) and Check Process function and updating additional project information.

Project: Development of SoftPRO/Quality 05-06

Role : Developer.

Project Synopsis : SoftPRO/Quality is a quality management system used to track the issues in the software. Having interaction with the source/version control system (Rational Clear case), provides clear data of source files related with the issue. It acts as a repository of bugs and fixes of software, used for many purposes like status tracking of defects, analysis of quality and training. This development is dedicated to implement a new functionality called "Product Information". This functionality enables the user to map and track similar kind of issues present in the Issue Management system.

1)Create/Edit/Read product information and linking the project to the product information.

2)Enter the preventive maintenance level in B/F form.

3)Fetch the lists of planned date of issue of modified version and confirmation date for counter measures with CSV file.
