Objective

My objective is to obtain employment to help sustain my overall goal which is finishing my associate’s degree, and furthering my education with a bachelor degree. Maybe even a master degree in computer technology in years to come.

I am proficient in lay-out fit-up of big steel and small, also misc. steel such as hand railings etc. I can full pen prep, weld, air-carbon-arc, reverse weld. I do have certification for overhead crane, mig-welding, and Industrial trucks / hi-lo. I have been lead fabricator and also have exp. in Q.C. have own lay-out and fit-up tools welding helmet. Looking for employment to help secure my education, I am a college student at the University of Phoenix and currently a sophomore.

As of now I am unemployed however, I am a full time college student in fast pursuit of my degree in Information Technology.

I am a proficient welder; I do have a sharp logical mind, and can absorb information quickly.

I have worked with metal of all sorts for most of my adult life.

Most of my experience is based inside a shop environment.

I have been promoted to lead fabricator-quality control for my abilities to decipher blueprints effectively.

I practiced martial arts for a little over 15 years and I believe that has played a major role in how my persona has developed.

Reading blue prints to determine lay-out fit-up of railings and curved stairs, ornamental steel fabrication, plate rolling, pipe rolling, as-well as custom metal fabrication is all part of this job description.

Assemble materials out of steel components, based on drawings from a blueprint. After ensuring the weldment was correct, weld to specifications.

Reading blueprints to determine lay-out and fit-up of structural steel. This type of fabrication requires serious metal contemplation. The steel of the structural sort is extremely heavy, can be dangerous if not dealt with carefully. Basically everything needed to be lifted by over-head cranes.

Assemble materials out of steel components to form structural steel such as columns and beams. All materials are built based off of blueprints, then welded into position if weldment is correct.

I have a personal interest in all things of technology. I can take apart and rebuild computers, fix or repair problems. One could say that technology in general is my hobby.
