QA Manager and Offshore Coordinator- Client: Citibank - LIC NY- New York

Contracted to Citigroup, Managed various applications including Global, ATM, and back-office transactions using full lifecycle development. Integrated on-site and offshore modeling and terminal connectivity. Supported technical releases, trained staff, and managed 10 direct reports. Designed and tested web applications.

 Launched offshore project, cutting manpower 80% in US for Citigroup. Challenged to connect US operations to virtual India operations. Set up offshore model, tested connectivity, software, and functionality. Launched project and trained team members, reducing US positions from 200 to 40.

 Implemented new web application, enhancing ease of account maintenance for Citigroup. Teller, concierge, consumer, and commercial accounts needed production support for releases. Concierge is the retail banking branch application. It is developed using PeopleSoft CRM, Java..

 GCIF brings up non-financial data and TPS financial data of the customer.

 Concierge also talks to many other applications such as NBS(teller), CITISMART, CWS, OSRO for Portfolios like

Project 2: NBS

NBS (National Branch System) is an electronic teller system at Citibank, which deals with day-to-day transactions and other banking functionalities: deposits, withdrawals, Loan payments, G/L, Mortgage Payments- Partly or Fully, transfers, Enquiry and Maintenance and check cashing etc.

The objective of this project is developing the automated test cases for the regression and functional testing of the NBS application. The scope also includes maintaining the test cases due to (a) changes in AUT (application-under-test) functionality (b) any reported errors in the automated execution due to environment / data issues.

 Development of Test plan by analyzing the Business Requirements

IRS requires on a basis 1099/1098 interest reporting for all interest bearing accounts from all financial institutes including Citibank

 This project is the yearly UAT whereby test forms are generated, reviewed and certified prior to mailing. Special attention will be given to those clients as NRA's with individual tax ID number as specific text will be displayed on applicable forms accordingly.

 The 1098/1099 forms were retrieved and financial/non-financial information was verified using a system called SVF (statement viewing facility).

 Create and maintain project plans, identify critical path, potential risks, maintain risk register and plan mitigation, cost management.

 Executed test scripts, reported bugs and retested after fix.

 Responsible for the dPMM and all the tollgate approvals required at each phase of project execution.

Project: 4 ODL

The Online Document Library (ODL) application currently hosts over 200 business units that allow users to upload, view and manage documents via a web interface. Due to the enormous growth of the site and document volumes, the home-grown application had to be redesigned as a more robust, secure and scalable application

Limitation of Previous System

 Not able to support large document volumes

 The existing system has a single interface to author, administer and consume the websites.

To be Scenario: The proposed ODL Content Management system will allow the business units to administer, author, review and publish documents and web content using one single interface. The System will automate the authoring, review and approval processes of document and content lifecycle using workflow. ODL has the following features:

 The existing system had been redesigned as a more robust, secure and scalable application

 Enhanced Searching capability for a document in ODL Repository using Enterprise Search Feature in MOSS 2007

 Individual site creation, Administration & management interfaces for each four business unit.

 Efficient Document Management system which will be scalable enough to handle documents from more than 200 Business Units.

Project 5: RDDB Migration to GCIF

 The goal is to migrate CBNA banking applications to one customer and account demographic database, GCIF and to eliminate the RDDB.

 To accomplish this goal, all batch and online functionality will have to be modified to update and retrieve data from GCIF instead of the RDDB.

 Real time updates to the RDDB are sent to GCIF via MQ. Batch updates to the RDDB are sent by files to GCIF directly (customer data) and via the daily conversation application (account data).

 Developed Project Workbook including vision for project, project requirements and scope including the risks.
