Senior Geoscientist/Senior Project Manager:

• Performed environmental assessments for major oil companies Shell Oil Products US and Valero.

• Responsible for all phases of Texas Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank (LPST) Risk-Based Assessments (Plan A, Plan B Assessments, Corrective Action Plans, Remediation System Installation, and System Operation & Maintenance).

• Responsible for all phases of Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) Assessments [Underground Storage Tank Removals and Affected Property Assessment Report (APAR)].

• Responsible for a portfolio of approximately 70 Retail Service Stations being sold by Shell Oil Products US. Activities included initial divestiture soil and groundwater baseline sampling and TRRP Assessments of those facilities confirmed to be LPST sites. At least 85% of the sites were closed under TRRP and LPST guidelines.

• Evaluated subsurface conditions relative to geotechnical considerations. USGS Unified Soil Classification System utilized for description of all subsurface materials. Oversight was provided for collection of geotechnical soil cores. Evaluated aquifers for groundwater resource determination. Aquifer testing methods included single well instantaneous head-change testing, cyclic bail-down and recovery well yield testing and well yield testing by constant discharge.

• Assessment activities included proposals, completion of approved scope of work within approved timeframe, and submission of report within approved timeframe.

• Performed computer-generated fate and transport modeling evaluations.

• Provided guidance and review of Phase I and Phase II Assessments and Reports.

• Provided supervision and mentoring of junior staff.

Handex of Texas, Inc., Fort Worth, TX. (Environmental Consulting Firm). 2003 to June 2005.

• Responsible for all phases of Texas LPST Risk-Based Assessments (see above descriptions and duties).

 Project Manager for purchase of MSDS Database System. Project included review of individual MSDS by Certified Industrial Hygienist for potential implementation of product into company safety policy.

 Various duties included lead-based paint abatement of bridges, asbestos surveys, remediation system operation, maintenance and reporting, hazardous waste disposal, soils metals and oil seep assessments.

• Mudlogger: recorded various parameters of drilling an oil well, obtained and analyzed geologic samples, correlated geologic information to nearby wells, and advised of unsafe drilling procedures. Delivered daily reports (logs) to company geologist.

• For Downhole Data: Mudlogging Computer Manager: supervisor of a four-man crew using continuous computer motoring of all drilling parameters.
