Major Projects
• Designed and deployed PharmaTrust Hyper-V VM (virtual machine) processor and storage system infrastructure running on HP blade servers and maintained VHD’s, SAN’s running software OS/apps such as Windows 2008 R2, Linux, Radius, MySQL, XML, HTML, PHP, Tender Retail POS gateway and Domain Controller
• Designed and integrated a proven effective Point Of Sale (POS) PCI and EMV compliant system for the PharmaTrust remote MedCentre pharmacy drug payments; included: payment gateway, payment merchant bank integration, hardware/firmware design (card scanner, PinPad, controller), and product OEM/distributor/key injection suppliers
• Designed and successfully deployed a bonded DSL solution which effectively load balanced in both directions an encrypted VPN tunnel over multiple DSL loops
• Integrated Lavalife.com web services to Frontier Network's IP platform (acquisition)
• Built out initial Internet/Data network platforms for startups: TeraGo (national), Maxlink (4 major markets) and Netcom Canada (national)
• Modernized TeraGo's Ethernet platform to support QOS/MPLS for advanced services; included deployments of next generation radios, routers, switching equipment and support systems
• Integrated World Without Wires wireless platform to TeraGo (acquisition)
• Technology/Consultant lead to successfully build-out Rogers Cable Internet new MPLS backbone and data control centres; included seamless moving of 500k+ customers (@Home network decommission)
• Consolidated 11 separate IP networks at AT&T Canada due mostly to acquisitions (Metronet/E-Connect, Netcom, Interlog, Unitel)

Business and Service Development
• Long track record as an innovator in wireless, fibre and traditional Telco platforms to develop advanced Telecommunication services
• Helped TeraGo achieve over 25 quarters of continuous revenue growth
• Helped lead redevelopment of managed MPLS services at Frontier including customer portal for location/ticket/network status info, sales pricing model/book, support process/automation and AE/SE customer material
• Provided business development and sales engineering support to prospect and close $1M+ worth of deals with three emerging cellular providers to provide wireless backhaul services; required technology advancements using recently available licensed spectrum to connect 80% more locations (than originally proposed)
• Recently developed and built a national wireless and fibre QOS MPLS data platform for advanced data and voice services
• Launched voice SIP trunking services including test turn-up processes, performance/capacity monitoring systems and integration into VOIP/PSTN gateways
