Airline Mechanic/Inspector

 Airline mechanic from 1986-1988 with PSA which then was taken over by US Airways: maintained mechanic position from 1988-1995. Performed responsibilities including AD, SB, 337, IPC, MMP, TC’s & various FAA documentation concerning conformity of engine tear-down and build, APU t/r & b, QEC, nozzle repair, flow and check, blueprint reading, sheet metal repair, composite repair, prime/paint and tool repair.

 Promoted to inspection in 1995 and worked with JT8D, V2000, RB211, engine parts as well as sub parts and QEC. Used NDT technique and measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for completing various tasks.

 Promoted to lead inspector in 2004 and maintained lead inspector status until May 2005 when position was abolished. Oversaw and assigned tasks and projects to a unit consisting of 12 individual inspectors.

 Relocated to Los Angeles International Airport in May 2005 as inspector of Airbus 319/320/321 fleet of aircraft.
