• Deputy Commander, Charleston District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Directed civil works and military construction including supervision of 40 staff in legal, information management, emergency preparedness, safety, public affairs, and contracting operations. Served as Contracting Officer for $10M design and unlimited construction warranty authority, settling claims and negotiating modifications for approximately 75 contracts valued at $35M. Formulated and managed operation budget of $70M.
• Academic Facility Manager, U.S. Military Academy (USMA) – Controlled academic facility plant operations for USMA including $60M multi-year program to renovate 7 academic buildings, serving as owner’s representative for all contacts with architectural/engineering contractor completing design.
