My Personnel Management Abilities Directing the daily activities of the parts department; assisting parts personnel with establishing their job development, sales, and training objectives; and, continuously evaluating and monitoring their progress toward achieving these goals.

Developing compensation plans that will encourage performance, reward success, and assure that the parts department will achieve its sales, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.

Staffing the parts department with individuals who are competent, trustworthy, adequately trained for their positions, and motivated to help the dealership achieve its goals and objectives.

Assuring that all annual training objectives are accomplished prior the end of the third calendar quarter; submitting to the General Manager for review and comment, written performance evaluations of all department personnel, and conducting, twice annually, individual meetings with all department personnel to review performance standards, career tracking progress, compensation, and employee satisfaction.

Submitting to the accounting office on a timely basis, time cards, payment vouchers, employment documents, and all other records necessary to the hiring and compensation of parts department personnel.

Assuring that the parts department is in compliance with all local, state, and federal, wage and hour laws, employment laws, and all other government regulations relating to employment, compensation, safety, harassment, and discrimination.

My Parts Management Abilities Creating and implementing sales and marketing plans that will assure that the parts department is; aggressively seeking new customers and markets; achieving its full sales and profit potential; and, fulfilling its obligations under the terms of its Sales and Service Agreements for superior representation and total customer satisfaction.

Implementing and maintaining an inventory control and reporting system that uses all available current technologies, and assures stocking levels sufficient to meet customer demands; maximize turnover; and, minimize inventory investment and obsolescence.

Being accountable for the physical presences, appearance, and maintenance of the parts inventory, retail display, wholesale, and storage space, and other assets utilized by the parts department; and, maintaining a system of internal controls, including twice annual physical inventories, and operating procedures that will protect these assets from theft, loss, or unnecessary depreciation.

Assuring that all parts sales documents are completed accurately, in full compliance with all local, state and federal laws, and submitted to the accounting office on a timely basis.

Assuring that the dealership is in full compliance with all procedures, policies, and rules with respect to the maintenance of warranty parts as prescribed by its manufacturers.

Developing annual business plans and expense budgets for the parts department; establishing monthly sales and profit objectives; and, conducting the affairs of the department in a fashion conducive to achieving its goals for sales, customer satisfaction, and maximizing the return on the owners’ investment.

My Process For Business Relationships Assuring that the employees of the parts department conduct their affairs in a manner conducive to good citizenship within the community, and operate within the laws and regulations of all local, state, and federal jurisdictions.

Assisting the dealer/general manager with the development and maintenance of relationships and alliances with manufacturers, industry associations, suppliers, and vendors that promote the goodwill of the company and serve its interests best.

Assisting the General Sales Manager with the implementation of the policies, procedures, and processes necessary to being recognized for superior customer satisfaction.
