Project Description:

To Design and Implement an 32-bit RISC Processor using VHDL.

The main objective of the project is to reduce the instructions. So that efficient instruction pipelines can be achieved. It is basically designed in order to have faster Executions. The striking feature of RISC Processor is it executes each instruction within one Clock cycle. This is achieved carrying out most of the operation with in the processor and minimizing the use of frequent operations requiring slower peripherals. Its architecture simplifies the instruction set and encourages the optimization of register manipulation. Almost all instructions have simple Register addressing. An important aspect of the instruction set is that it is easy to decode(Fixed Length Instruction Format).

Thus the Opcode and Instruction Register fields can be accessed simultaneously. Due to the Simplification of the instructions and their format so control logic design is very much simplified.

Project : Real time Zig-Bee Multi Nodal Fault Monitoring System

Client : Institute for Electronic Governance (Hyderabad).

Description:

As zigbee is the upcoming technology in wireless field, we had tried to demonstrate its way of functionality and various aspects like kinds, advantages and disadvantages using a small application of controlling the any kind of electronic devices and machines. The zigbee technology is broadly adopted for bulk and fast data transmission over a dedicated channel.

Main aim behind our project is to make the instrumentation stream more power full by enabling it modern communication technologies. Here we are designing Portable Embedded solution which can be fixed to any real time running machines, blast furnace Heater containments etc. The temperature and the time will be formed as a packet and will be transmitted using a zigBee module. Here we can have multiple nodes; each node will transmit the data as well the node code which is further used to distingue the nodes. All of the data transmitted by the nodes will be collect by the central server and is displayed in a user friendly format. The Software is much intelligent and generates signals on occurrence of fault to make the user attention.
