Assistant General Manager, responsible for entire warehouse and fulfillment operation of food logistics to Amtrak trains arriving and departing in New York Penn Station and Long Inland City. Direct reports include eight Warehouse Managers and 85 union associates. I have introduced various recycling programs and raised awareness of safety policies, introduced various operation policies. Currently working with Client and Aramark Six Sigma experts to improve cycle time. I have addressed security of warehouse by training associates on new after hour policies. Shut down second warehouse and leased a parking space for parking storage trailers resulting in a $400,000 annual savings. Worked closely with Scheduling department to assure inventory and raw materials are available and on schedule to meet deadlines. I was also given the job of Plant Safety Director. I travelled to various plants to perform internal company safety audits.
