Attached is a letter that I received from a Quality Engineer from Boeing Aircraft Co. while working at Parker Hannifin.

Background History

Shaw Aero Devices/Parker Hannafin Air and Fuel Division

Hired Jan. 2003 Title: Assembly Technician, Fuel Division (2003-mid2004) Duties: Assembly of bypass valves, one way check valves, climb/dive valves, electrical high and low level indicators, fuel pressure systems and multiple primary and secondary systems. In 2005 I was placed as lead tech in the Oil Division working on Trent 1000 series, Boeing C130, II Series Hydraulic reservoirs and many other holding tanks including composite, stainless, aluminum, titanium and magnesium reservoirs. From this position I trained a crew that ultimately took over as I was transitioned in mid 2006 to the Float Division. This was one of the most complex dealing with high end electronics that included both high and low voltage circuitry, I was building reservoir oil sensors, fuel level indicators, magnetically operated low and high level shut off valves for refuel/defuel and jettison control. I was placed on a night shift position in mid 2006 I was tasked with putting together a crew of thirty techs and was to be titled Lead Night Shift Supervisor. In this roll I was in charge of primarily Float Division but with a crew that would run Fuel, Oil, Weld, and Water Systems. This was putting me in to a multitude of task management, once that crew was trained and running I was moved back to day shift in late 2007. New Programs, here I was tasked with Lean Initiative working hand and hand with our Engineering Department to write and implement new work instructions, slowly being groomed into becoming a Manufacturing Engineer. In 2008 Parker Hannifin acquired Shaw, most of the current M.E.'s were grandfathered in I had missed that position by mere weeks. I was re-implemented back into the Electronics Department. In 2009 they were in need of a Scheduler, I took on the roll for the next 9 months. I was tasked with ordering all of the raw material for the Machine/CNC Departments as well as sending finished product out for chemical conversion (alodine, anodize, zinc plating and paint) also tasked with stocking returned from the vendors. Early 2010 I was placed into the position of Sr. Float and Fuel Division when they were merged, also tasked with putting together another great team, still working with management and engineering in the Lean Development I was able to maintain a 97% on time delivery status. Boeing had an Issue with the C-17 Program as I was highly trained on the fuel system i was tasked with implementing a corrective action for fuel system jettison problem (4 months later that is when I received the above letter) A really great feeling knowing I made a difference. 2011 I was then "on loan" to the 145 Repair Station for 6 months working directly on occasions with the NTSB doing investigations of crashed and damaged aircraft. Late 2011 until present I was tasked with putting together a new CRG Department (Customer Return Goods) and have been evaluating, quoting, overhauling, and test and recertifying all return goods. It has been a great almost ten years and with this came a copious amount of training that has allowed me to be so diversified, technical and very proud to have worked in so many fields ranging from fixed wing to helicopters and in both the military and commercial aircraft.
