OBJECTIVE

Knowledgeable systems administrator experienced in troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems, printers and other computer peripherals. Assist users with various computer related issues from Microsoft Exchange to hardware and software problems via remote desktop application or hands on the actual machine. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

November 2010 – April 2011 – United States Army, Newport News, VA Computer Support Technician Network Enterprise Center, Fort Eustis. Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing personnel and equipment, ensuring their user account is opened or closed properly, and all other requirements are met within a timely manner. Made sure all new incoming personnel, military as well as civilian, completed Information Awareness training as well as all applicable paperwork to gain access to the network systems, (NIPR, SIPR), and programs therein. Created unique user logins utilizing active directory and assigned the user to the appropriate groups, share drives, and folders to ensure the individual had access to programs and network drives related to their specific job. Image casted 56 CPUs and 13 laptops with the standard Army operating system to include any job specific software the end user may need for their mission requirements. Map necessary network drives for an individual’s specific need and requirement whether it was for program functions, particular folder access, or network peripheral device. Implemented software patches, security fixes, and tests and validates modified system configurations. Also provides advanced support for hardware, proper installation, connectivity, and functionality of peripherals for a new and existing login account, and proper network access for each specific individual. Additionally ensuring equipment moved from BRACKED locations, Ft. Lee and Ft. Monroe, to new location, Ft. Eustis, is Army compliant, up to date and able to be put on the network. Also responsible for CAC PIN resets, email encryption training, eliminate equipment and account duplication between installations, desktop PC imaging and set up, as well as blackberry order and configuration set up. Installed hardware and software updates, coordinated maintenance releases, system upgrades, and resolved any resulting software and hardware problems. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, best practices, procedures, and security guidelines.

November 2008 – May 2010 - United States Air Force, Hampton, VA NCOIC Geospatial Product Library 36th Intelligence Squadron Air Force Targeting Group, Langley AFB. Responsible for maintaining 6.19 Terabyte server and disseminating geospatial product library 1, 5 and 10 meter digital map data. Provided monthly updates of control image based data to MAJCOM level and 13 Operational Support Squadron worldwide. Imagery provided was used for various missions such as targeting, convoy road evaluations, battle damage assessment, etc. Created and maintained multiple checklists and training objectives to ensure squadron and office training compliance. Updated imagery within the GPL weekly with imagery provided by NGA to ensure accuracy of digital map data. Instrumental in the stand up of the Coast Guard's first Geospatial Product library server database. This included the download of over six terabytes of 1, 5, 10 meter geospatial imagery data onto 55 individual hard drives to be used on individual aircraft as well as various sea going vessels. The intelligence data provided is now used for search and rescue operations, poaching surveillance, as well as narcotics and weapons operations. Created easy to use, step by step instructions for all those who use the GPL data on the proper use and execution of the imagery for both FalconView as well as RemoteView system applications to ensure accurate image manipulation for the creation of maps as well as battle damage assessment.

December 2007 - November 2008 - United States Air Force, Hampton, VA Resource Advisor 36th Intelligence Squadron, 480th Combat Targeting Intelligence Group, Langley AFB. Responsible for annual group and squadron funds totaling $2.2M, as well as the Global War on Terrorism budget totaling $4.2M for military assets, training, and contracts in order to sustain squadron and readiness operations. Managed one hundred and sixteen Government Travel Card holder accounts and approved, monitored, and track all Government Purchase Card procurements. Provide program support in various areas, including financial policy, budget planning, execution, and trend analysis. Provide performance reporting, man power analysis, statistical analysis, management controls, and strategy development. Primary Defense Travel System administrator in charge of the entire 36th intelligence Squadron as well as the in house offices of the 480th Combat Targeting and Intelligence Group responsible for creating travel orders for all military and government civilians. Upon the members return a travel voucher would then be created to ensure their government travel card would be paid the amount due. Also created a DTS training PowerPoint slideshow that has been integrated into the squadrons Newcomers briefing to educate new individuals on the proper operation procedures of the Defense Travel System.

January 2007 - December 2007 - United States Air Force, Hampton, VA Multispectral Imagery Production Systems Team Lead 36th Intelligence Squadron 480th Intelligence Group, Langley AFB. Responsible for producing tailored theater databases, image maps, terrain categorizations, change detections, area delimitations and perspective views. This also included fly through simulations for mission preparation and disaster relief efforts using the most up to date image enhancement technology. Managed the production of imagery products for deployed DoD combat units during contingency operations.

June 2006 – December 2006 - United States Air Force, San Angelo, TX, Imagery Intelligence Analysis Trainee 315th Training Squadron, Goodfellow AFB. Attended and completed the basic Imagery Intelligence Analysis course.

July 2005 – April 2006 - United States Air Force in Europe, Sembach, Germany Network Administrator Technician USAFE Regional Supply Squadron, Sembach AB. Information Systems Security Officer responsible for the system administration of the Regional Supply Squadron Local Area Network with one hundred and eighty computers and over one hundred and seventy users connected to a Cisco 5500 switch. Maintained the regional supply website and centralized reports server supporting sixteen installations, ten wings, seventy six geographically separated units, and eleven contingency units. Managed inventory and upkeep of two hundred seventy six automated data processing equipment items as well as two hundred personal computers, 32 network printers, and three network servers. Responsible for re-imaging 38 newly acquired computer systems as part of the tech refresh plans instituted during the end of the fiscal year. Ensured each machine was imaged with the most up to date Windows OS with additional USAFE mandated programs such as the Standard Base Supply System, IESS, and MICAP tracking software. Map necessary network drives for an individual’s specific need and requirement whether it was for program functions, particular folder access, or network peripheral device. July 2002 - July 2005 - United States Air Force in Europe, Sembach, Germany Computer Operation Technician Supervisor USAFE Regional Supply Squadron, Sembach AB. Maintained Standard Base Supply System data base integrity for twelve host supply and 43 satellite supply accounts. Prepare operating schedule for processing financial and inventory reports and listings for all accounts and processing an average 1,275 reports per day. Responsible for completing duties of NCOIC of swing shift operations ensuring proper processing of all financial and management reports for the USAFE MAJCOM. Ensured all processed reports and listings for the 15 supply accounts are available to all customers USAFE wide for the following business day. Primary liaison for Systems Support Group at Gunter AFB and Defense Information Systems Agency at Tinker AFB ensuring proper system coordination for software releases and updates.

January 2000 - July 2002 - United States Air Force, Wrightstown, NJ, Computer Operation Technician 305 Logistics Readiness Squadron, McGuire AFB. Manage the Local Area Network, support and training on LAN operation and system security. Coordinate with the 305 Communications Squadron and Logistics Group Network Manager on LAN development, map necessary network drives for an individual’s specific need and requirement whether it was for program functions, particular folder access, or network peripheral device. Implemented software patches, security fixes, tests and validates modified system configurations.
