• Raised funds for and chaired subcommittee that created domestic violence awareness posters and brochures.
• Conceived of the March against Child Abuse and chaired planning committee for three consecutive years.
• Successfully lobbied Erie County Legislature regarding restoration of $350,000 in funding to Erie County Physically Handicapped Children’s Program.
• Participated in Physically Handicapped Children’s Program Task Force to equitably
allocate limited resources to families of special needs children.
HUMAN SERVICES • Experienced with varied populations, including: low income preschoolers and their families, adult children of alcoholics, troubled adolescents, women at risk, survivors of abuse, minority youth and the elderly.
