QUALIFICATIONS

I have experience in most fields of nursing. My most recent specialty was management of the Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic at a Dialysis Center. My clinical skills are excellent, and I enjoy teaching. I have a high energy level and take pride in my work. I am BLS certified. In the past I have been ACLS, PALS, Med/Surg and Critical Care Certified.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Davita Healthcare Mar 2005 to August 09

PD and Medication nurse. Passed medications on over 50 pt’s per day, Performed assessments on Hemo and PD patients. I also managed the PD Clinic providing care and guidance for up to 20 patients. My roll was to work independently under the guidance of the physicians. My responsibilities were lab draws, monitoring lab results and overseeing the complete needs of my patients. I worked in conjunction with a Dietitian and Social Worker.

Endo nurse. Managed the department, prepared patients for procedures, which included starting an IV access for anesthesia. Assisted the physicians with all Endoscopy procedures. Some of my other responsibilities were ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining the statistical information for the department, and dealing with vendors. I was also the Endoscopy Preceptor.

I had also moved up the hospitals Clinical Ladder to RN II.

I graduated Cum Laude at St. Clare Community College, Port Huron, MI with an Associate Degree.
