Currently working on a student group project to design and develop a cost-efficient Raman Spectrometer. This project involves the areas of laser spectroscopy, signal processing, and embedded systems in order to create a software/hardware integrated system that can detect the chemical composition of any given material and identify it as a known substance. Some useful applications include forensics, appraisal services, and the detection of illegal drugs and counterfeit currency.

Software Engineering (Spring 2010)

Worked as part of a team to design, develop, and test a software concordance. This project involved the implementation of Java and the Eclipse IDE to create a program that reads any user-defined word or sentence in Shakespeare’s Macbeth and displays all of the famous quotes and paragraphs associated with it.
