CAREER SUMMARY

Operations/Supply Chain Professional with over ten years experience overseeing supply chain: inventory, demand/supply planning, and manufacturing functions.

• Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar inventories.

• Expertise training, evaluating, and leading, cross-functional teams in operational functions. Professional track record analyzing existing processes, devising and implementing improvements in cost, efficiency, and accuracy.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Resourceful coordinator and problem solver.

• Very strong in the use of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting, as well as experienced in the use of Business Intelligence/Microstrategy (Symphony), Crystal Reports, and Business Objects as system data extraction tools, as well at the Hyperion financial reporting database application.

• Over four years experience with the SAP ERP system, and a year of experience using the Baan and Oracle ERP systems.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• While with Tyco, Fire Suppression, Global Operations, as part of a Six Sigma on-time delivery, forecast accuracy project, I developed the Waterfall Forecast Accuracy Metric Tool for use in measuring and improving the forecast accuracy at our largest manufacturing facility. Since the implementation of this tool, on time delivery has improved by 19%, to 93%. This tool directly influenced the improvement in forecast accuracy by 12%, from 68% to 76%

• At Tyco, Fire Suppression, Global Operations, a 27% reduction to inventory aged greater than 12 months was achieved, going from $3.7M at EOY FY06 to $2.7M at EOY FY07. This was done by using an excess and obsolete inventory clearance process, tracking aged inventory monthly, and following up to ensure write-offs occurred in a timely manner.

• While with Tyco, Fire Suppression, Global Operations, I developed the Collaborative Forecasting Tool to manage the SKU level forecast for the European Distribution Center (EDC) manufactured products. This Collaborative Forecasting Tool (CFT), enabled the optimization of inventory at a 95% service level target, and defined the forecast and reorder points necessary to maintain this targeted service level.

• While with Tyco Service Operations, in the Service Parts Planning Manager role, I implemented the MRP Access database for use in capturing all service demand for products stocked at the Atlanta distribution center. Since the implementation of this tool, the Atlanta service parts availability improved 38%, from 60% to 82.9%.

• While with Tyco Service Operations, in the Service Parts Planning Manager role, my team and I participated as team members, on the OEM warranty returns Six Sigma project, where the diligent exercise of warranties, resulted in the capture of over $1M in credit dollars and or product.

• While at Oce, Service Operations, I served as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) leading the service demand planning department on a company-wide SAP upgrade project, to combine two divisions on different SAP platforms, to one SAP instance. The combined cost savings and efficiencies gained by combining these two divisions can be estimated in the millions of dollars.
