Objective

To utilize the transferable skills I have gained from over 15 years of experience as an award winning professional sales representative, 10 years of experience managing businesses and eight years of experience working with and managing a non-profit group. I am looking for a procurement role to help a company reduce costs and risks, while improving inventory positions and quality, and improving work flows of assigned business units. Skills

Negotiation Experience – Negotiated custom contracts for Disaster Recovery Plans for Canada with companies like Imperial Oil, Conoco Phillips, Suncor and British Petroleum. This included identifying risks not identified in the RFP documentation and adding risk mitigating services to the agreement.

Request for Proposal/Master Service Agreement Experience – Developed and worked within the confines of Master Service Agreements to improve services and scope of services being supplied for companies like Baker Hughes, West Jet and Manulife Financial.

Terms and Conditions Experience – Worked with client’s end user groups to create Terms and Conditions to meet the needs of the end user group at companies like British Petroleum, the Calgary Health Region and Alberta Treasury Branches.

Risk Management Experience – Worked with clients like Husky Oil Operations and to identify areas where altered service agreements would reduce their risk exposure without increasing their costs.

Third Party Supplier Experience – Negotiated with third party air transportation suppliers to create a service offering for my client, Westfair Foods, which solved their disaster recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives for their point of sales systems throughout Canada.

Customer Service Experience – Managed a diverse portfolio of clients from every industry over my 15 year career as a sales representative. My abilities to listen and work with the clients to design and implement custom solutions to their problems allowed me to provide great service to my customers.

Communication Skills – Proven skills at IKON Office Solutions, Iron Mountain Canada, and Scouts Canada managing the communications and relationships within multiple diverse teams.

Time Management Skills – Over 15 years of proven experience managing large customer and prospect base for Iron Mountain and IKON Office Solutions.

Inventory Management Experience – Managed supplies of perishables, consumables and non-consumables during a 10 year span with Earl’s Restaurants, Moxie’s Restaurants and Scouts Canada.

Presentation Skills – Considered top presentation person among peers at Iron Mountain Canada and Ricoh Canada. Re-designed the proposal template used by Sales Representatives at Ricoh Canada.

Project Management Skills - Implemented new secure shredding program across 150 different locations impacting over 10,000 staff at Alberta Health Services. Planned organized and implemented week long camp and food programs for youth and adults with Scouts Canada.
