ATS is a national training company specializing in education in the area of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and related disorders for which I created and started. We provide trainings and continuing education units for healthcare professionals, caregivers, administrators and instructors and present a variety of highly acclaimed programs that I both have written and co-authored. Including: Memory Impairment Specialists (MIS), MIS Instructor Certification Program, Memory Impairment Awareness, Essentials of Activity Programming, Medication Management and provide comprehensive consulting services. ATS has provided training to thousands, in 20 states to date.

Provide all necessary activities of daily living as needed, assist to all medical appointments and manage medications for an injured Marine with TBI, PTSD, Fibromyalgia and Gulf War Syndrome. Involved with organizations such as Team Semper Fi, Wounded Warrior Project and World Team Sports as active participants and travel to different events around the country. Also assist warrior navigating through the very long and difficult VA process to obtain and correct VA disability benefits she is entitled to.

Daily collaborates with case managers, social workers and therapists and participates in case management team meetings weekly. Ensures that patients are receiving all services and therapies needed for highest quality of life. Completed 24-hour hospice training required by state regulations.

Managed budget of more than $1.6 million. Awarded Visionary Corporate Award for development of 40-hour caregiver training and orientation program. Responsible for all hiring, training, counseling, discipline, rewarding and firing of nursing and care giving associates. Performed all resident assessments and monitored for change of conditions as needed. Participated in marketing efforts to fill community with qualified residents.

Managed crisis hotline, suicide calls, assisted families in crisis such as domestic violence and child abuse cases. Participated in case management, to include working with commands to ensure families were getting all services needed to stabilize crisis situation. Also assigned as child advocate for child abuse victims.
