To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter as a Medical student in the process of becoming a Medical Assistant who is interested in working with you, as a doctor, and your medical staff. I have been a student for eight months and will be completing an externship in a period of 160 hours.
As of this time I have qualifications like I am CPR certified and I have also done injections, Phlebotomy, Vitals, EKG’s, sterile tray set-up, and Patient Draping. I am also familiar with Medical Terminology, PDR’s, ICD-9, and CPT coding.
My plans after completing my externship are to work in the medical field as a Medical Assistant and continue to learn as I work. I am also planning to become a certified Medical Assistant as well as a certified Phlebotomy Technician. With that being said I want to thank you for your time to look over my skills and experience that I have to offer.
Sincerely,
Elvia Vargas
