Managed an Air Force Superfund site with a $2.1 million dollar annual budget.

Supervised and over saw 23 extraction wells and 20 recharge wells, along with 22 miles of piping networks and associated controls used to control contaminant migration.

Negotiated the installation of a T1 line through Quest to a connection point off property where we connected to an optical fiber line for network connectivity.

Installed several optical fiber lines throughout the 23 miles of communication links to network PLC’s, and VFD’s to the project SCADA systems.

Designed the project network architectures, ran CAT 5 and Firewire1394 throughout the plant and project office to network routers and nodes.

Installed WAP’s for the areas that could not be wired and installed wireless securities to those systems.

Installed Firewalls to prevent unwanted and unauthorized intrusions.

Capital Improvement-Designed and installed next generation Advanced Oxidation remedial system that is the largest of its kind treating 2000gpm at this time. Coordinate activities between AECOM and the manufacturing facility, the various federal and local agencies, the Tohono O’odham Nation and the Unified Community Advisory Board the community organization that over sees progress of the project remediation.

Plant Operations and Field Manager for AECOM. Over saw and perform groundwater, soil, and vapor sampling, equipment decontamination and chemical demilitarization. Experience includes plumbing, electrical systems, process management, equipment operation and maintenance, SCADA systems, and general construction.

Managed and operated on site activities for a 5,000 gpm (design) groundwater extraction, treatment and recharge plant. Perform routine maintenance and repairs, coordinate and direct subcontractors and staff, assist in report preparation, participate in meetings with regulatory agencies and interact with clients on a regular basis.

EARTH TECH – ABCDF Project Aberdeen, Maryland, Utility Supervisor 10/2004 to 10/2006

Participated, supervised, and worked on a pilot Chemical Demilitarization project neutralizing chemical WMD’s.

Demonstrated knowledge of repairing mechanical equipment and the tooling to support such actions.

Demonstrated knowledge of engineering values and techniques through the ABCDF chemical demilitarization project located in the ECBC facility.

Preformed as an operations specialist for the neutralization mustard agent disposal at the facility.

Performed as a Senior Operations Specialist for a major producer (60 million gallons per year) of Linear Alkyl Benzene, a common base for liquid detergents.

Started as a Multi-Level Operations Specialist and promoted to Senior Operations Specialist.

Responsible for safely and efficiently operating the facility.

Collecting daily quality control samples, analyzing the samples in a laboratory and entering the data into a LIMS database controlled process. Based on this information, process flow rates and temperatures were adjusted using the SCADA system.

Responsible for the Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) program, this was necessary for the safe repair of equipment.

Managed regular inspections by federal and local agencies and all programs had to be defensible at the highest levels of scrutiny.
