RESUME

Objective: Student of life seeking a paying job. I have been a self starting entrepreneur.

WORK HISTORY

I have helped people see themselves and their lives with a new perspective in many different areas of their life. When I first met Arthur he thoroughly enjoyed smoking, generous servings of sugar and milk in his coffee. Coffee for breakfast, lunch and dinner and in between meals. He did not eat vegetables and fruits because it was very difficult to chew his food properly with his dentures. He was far to busy to prepare quality meals, so his diet consisted of cheese, cold cut meats, and white bread, he ordered eggs, bacon , hash browns and coffee from Denny’s and Chinese fast food was for dinner and a lot of canned foods. He did not engage in any form of exercise and he worked long hours and did not drink much water. He called me from the hospital after he was able to gain his strength back in his extremities to handle the phone. He had been in the hospital for weeks. While at the hospital recovering he learned that his very lifestyle got him into this position. When he explained to me that he wanted my help. I quickly came to his aid. He quite smoking, caffine, sugar, and dairy. I did a lot of research on stroke recovery and implemented his exercise regiment, I read books to him that motivated and inspired his exploration of the inner wisdom that his body possess to heal. He required 24 hour care for the first 5 days, then I visited him once a day for about two weeks and then once every other day until he was able to gain most of his strength back. He is a good friend to this day and still calls me needing help with making appropriate food choices and he likes to borrow a lot of my books.

Yvonne Gonzalez called me one day desperately wanting to change her life but did not have the will power. She received the results from her doctor that her blood pressure and cholesterol levels were way too high, she was a diabetic for 2 years, and with each passing routine physical she continued to gain more and more weight. She was overwhelmed, no will power and lacked the knowledge she needed to start. Initially we agreed on 3 visits per week walked for about 15 to 20 minutes. The second week was increased to 4 visits per week, for one whole hour, by the end of three months she was able to walk two miles each day after work, we went grocery shopping together educated her on healthier substitutions to purchase and prepared healthier meals and we often ate together over a great conversation about the book she was reading from my personal library. 6 months from her last physical she called very excited thanking me because the doctor told her to keep up the good work.

David Jeno had a pretty healthy regiment in place, he ran a couple miles every other day, walked his dogs twice a day, ate his fair share of raw vegetables daily, new the benefits of starting his day with a green drink, drank plenty of water, and keeping red meats to a minimum. His interest was to explore more deeply his spirituality, I facilitated a new world which he eagerly invested in to further his spiritual journey. Learning and understanding the chakras of his body and making him aware of the importance of his gifts and to make the effort to refine them. He is constantly calling me with excitement in his voice on reading a new book that added to his already vast knowledge base.

I enjoy inspiring motivation, whether a person is struggling with their weight, or lacking the knowledge to make better choices or just needing someone to give them encouragement, guidance and support that can be a daunting task embarking on a new journey. Sometimes the weight of feeling overwhelmed and not knowing how to begin can seem like a tall order. It is a wonderful feeling to be needed and trusted in guiding a person making a transition a little lighter and easier and it always makes me giggle with delight for me to see my client discovering that challenges can be a lot of fun with the right mind set.

In the past I assisted clients with financial counseling and negotiated with the banks on behalf of the clients. On many occasions I achieved success getting the banks to grant the loan modification. I often counseled clients to get them prepared for new transitions in their life, i.e. helping them find housing alternatives, moving companies, finding out where their talents and interests were to help them find new areas they never considered for employment or starting their own businesses. I understood and compassionately assisted them in helping them close a chapter in their life and helped them to find a new understanding and encouraged them to open a new chapter in their life and I assisted them in preparing and transitioning as smoothly as possible.

I also have a background as a secretary, personal assistant, executive secretary, receptionist clerical and property management. I am proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel r computer software.

I also have experience in over the counter sales, I sold Shiseido makeup, Jones of New York clothing, and enjoyed working in the service industry as a waitress for various restaurants, cafes, and bakeries

I have a degree in Computer Automated Drafting I took creative writing classes and advanced English classes at Pasadena City College and I also have a license to practice real estate.

HOBBIES:

Of course meeting new clients, riding my bike, running, hiking, dancing, writing, singing is my passion, love to read, and I find gardening to be soothing, and I can spend hours painting, and beading, theres so much more but I’d better stop.
