WORK EXPERIENCE
February 2007 to present-Computer Technician /Instructional Facilitator – Madison Parish School District. Started as desktop support and over the next three years was promote to LAN Administrator, where I was responsible for maintaining the Microsoft local area network environment and selecting hardware and software for supported users. Specific duties consisted of supporting LAN and remote users throughout the district. I worked on many WAN issues with ISP throughout the District. I directed contractors including Cisco designers on various stages involving the construction of a new thirty million dollar High/Middle School in the district including installing and managing VOIP, video conferencing, Cisco mesh wireless, IP Camera Security, MCS “point of sale “ support. My daily duties also included the maintaince and monitoring the Tracer Summit building automation system, domain controllers and virtual servers.
August 2006, Deployment team lead technician- BMC Solutions/Monroe City School District Lease Project, Monroe, LA. I served as site lead managing technical and non-technical personnel deploying 900 Dell GX-620 desktops throughout the Monroe City School District. In addition, we cascaded 840 of the Dell GX-260 systems and set them up. I supervised and participated with the data transfer of 215 systems. 570 of the new systems were networked via Cisco switches into labs with HP and Lexmark laser printers. TCP/IP ports were configured for printers data was migrated via a FTP site provided by the client. We were also responsible for changing the site pc naming conventions to client request placing asset tags on all new equipment.
April 2003-Sept 2005, AS-3 STAT Team Configuration Analyst- Sapphire Technologies, AT&T government solutions/Northrop Grumman, New Orleans, LA. Performed database entry and validation services for Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) deployment, daily tasks included collecting data via email, telephone and updating excel spreadsheets from 187 remote site scattered throughout the 50 United States. Formulating the collected data into useable information that was essential to the PC deployment of hardware and application services ordered from Marine Corps. This process, which involved induction of gathered data into the NMCI‘s NET database and generating numerous reports, that revealed the validity of information collected.
WORK EXPERIENCE (CONTRACT ASSIGNMENTS)
March-2005, Data Migration Technician-Anu Resources/ Insight-Butler Project, New Orleans Louisiana. Using PCMCIA Ethernet adapters in combination with crossover cables data was migrated from IBM T-23 and T-40 laptops to Toshiba Tablet laptops. Site resolution of network connectivity issues associated with the migration i.e.: troubleshooting Internet protocol (TCP/IP) services were performed as necessary.

Performed software configuration of kiosk systems in physician’s offices, which included re-imaging systems using Symantec’s Ghost software. After verifying BIOS settings and RAS configuration for incoming calls, for Healthy Advice Network’s Net key Player software.
