WORK EXPERIENCE:

2002 – present Midwest Center for Advanced Imaging, Naperville, IL

• Position: Lead MRI/CT Technologist with additional responsibility as Director of Operations

• Highly proficient in MRI, including breast and breast biopsy, MRA and CE-MRA, MR-Arthrography, q-MRA (NOVA) and all neuro, MSK and body imaging in an extremely fast-paced environment.

• Independent in outpatient adult and pediatric CT procedures, and additionally skilled with neuro-CTA, spine, extremity, dental and calcium-scoring (CTHS) procedures.

• Provide additional coverage in Xray and C-arm for arthrography procedures; intermittently covered DEXA as needed.

• Routine use of Dynacad, MEDRAD, Mammotome, NOVA, VITREA, Materialise/Simplant, Intergy and eRad PACS software systems.

• Facility was show-site for Philips 3T MRI system; was contact person for onsite customer visits and consumer insight for Philips sales personnel. Also provided customer consultations and testimonials for Invivo (Dynacad) and Mammotome.

• Obtained ACR accreditation for Breast MRI, becoming the first site in Illinois to accredit in this module. Maintained MRI ACR accreditation on 4 scanners.

• Other tasks included oversight of Quality Control, MSDS/Safety, and Policies & Procedures and all facility ACR accreditations, as well as constantly evaluating and enforcing cost-effective daily operations.

• Skilled at 1.5T GE 5X and GE LX systems, GE High-Speed CT and Advanced Windows GE Workstation.

• Proficient in acute care and outpatient procedures including standard neurological and musculo-skeletal exams; head, neck, peripheral and contrast-enhanced abdominal MRA; PV Runoffs; MRCP; MR Urography; Cardiac MR; Gamma Knife and Surgical STEALTH; pediatric exams.

• Received training on a 0.3T Hitachi Aries II Open MRI.
